Marisa Drewes is an artist and 2017 BFA graduate from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, whose work focuses on interiors and everyday life.
Marisa works and lives in St. Louis and is exploring how interiors and objects can portray a sense of reflection and memory. Her paintings include a thin application of paint to provide luminance in brushstrokes.
Marisa has also explored figurative subject matter through previous work of ballet dancers.
