Marisa Drewes is an artist and current BFA student in the Advanced Painting Program at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago whose work currently focuses the interiors of everyday life.
Marisa is based in the St. Louis and Chicago area and is exploring how interiors can portray warmth, sensibility, and familiarity. Her paintings include a thin application of paint to provide luminance and charged brushstrokes.
